01Is Mental Freedom® therapy?+
No. Mental Freedom® is a psychoeducational process that teaches practical tools for emotional resilience, self-leadership, and personal responsibility.
It does not diagnose, treat, or replace therapy or medical care. Some people choose to use Mental Freedom® alongside therapy or other forms of professional support, while others use it independently as a skills-based approach to personal growth.
02Do I have to talk about my personal experiences to benefit?+
No. You can learn and apply Mental Freedom® tools without sharing personal details or reliving past experiences.
Many people appreciate being able to work privately at first. Sharing is always optional and happens only if and when it feels supportive to you.
03How is Mental Freedom® different from suppressing emotions or “staying positive”?+
Mental Freedom® does not encourage stuffing, ignoring, or denying emotions. Instead, it teaches you how to work with emotions as signals—information that can guide clearer, more intentional responses.
This is not about pretending everything is fine. It’s about developing greater awareness, balance, and choice in how you respond to what you feel.
04Will Mental Freedom® stop painful things from happening in my life?+
No. Life will still include challenges, losses, and uncertainty.
What Mental Freedom® often changes is how much additional suffering we create for ourselves in response to those events. Many people discover they’ve been unintentionally adding pain through worry, self-blame, replaying stories, or trying to control things outside their influence.
Mental Freedom® helps you shift your focus away from what you don’t control and toward what you do — your responses, your perspective, and the meaning you give to events. As a result, many people find they regain their balance more quickly, experience less emotional fallout, and respond with greater steadiness and clarity.
05Is Mental Freedom® appropriate for trauma, grief, or loss?+
Mental Freedom® has been used successfully by people working through trauma, grief, and loss at many stages of life.
It is especially valued for its respectful, non-invasive approach, which does not require retelling or reliving painful experiences. Individuals are encouraged to seek additional professional support whenever needed.
06How long does it take to see results?+
Some people notice meaningful shifts in awareness early in the process. Deeper integration happens over time as the tools are applied in real-life situations.
Mental Freedom® is designed as a lifelong skillset rather than a quick fix. Growth unfolds at an individual pace.
07What formats are available?+
Mental Freedom® is offered through:
• Small Group Experiences • Individual Experiences • A self-paced video-based option for those who prefer to learn privately and move through the material on their own schedule
Each format teaches the same core principles and practical tools.
08What kind of support is available during and after the Experience?+
Support is available to assist with integration and continued growth, while honoring personal autonomy.
Options include:
• A private online community for optional connection and reflection • Mental Freedom® 365: Daily Reflections for Real Life, a free daily email reflection program • Individual coaching sessions, available after the Experience for those who want more personalized integration
Mental Freedom® is designed to build self-trust and internal clarity, not dependence. You choose how and when to engage with support.

You’re encouraged to choose the option that best aligns with your needs, resources, and desired level of support.
10What is your refund policy?+
Mental Freedom® is an invitational process. People are encouraged to continue because the work resonates—not because they feel pressured to stay.
For this reason, we offer a 100% money-back guarantee prior to the beginning of the third session.
After completing the first two sessions, most people have enough experience with the process to know whether Mental Freedom® is a fit for them. If you decide it’s not what you want, simply let us know before the third session begins and we will return every penny you’ve paid.
Once the third session begins, no refunds are offered.
This policy supports informed choice, self-trust, and personal responsibility.
11Will Kim Olver always be the one to deliver the Mental Freedom® Experience?+
Mental Freedom® is a clearly defined process that can be delivered by trained and certified Facilitators.
Kim Olver, LCPC, BCC is the founder of Mental Freedom® and continues to personally offer Individual and Small Group Experiences. At the same time, Mental Freedom® has been intentionally designed to be shared by Facilitators who are trained, certified, and aligned with the core principles and philosophy of the work.
This allows people to choose the guide and format that best fits their needs, preferences, and circumstances—while maintaining consistency, integrity, and respect for the Mental Freedom® process.
Some people choose to work directly with Kim, while others prefer working with a Facilitator whose background, focus, or availability feels like the right fit for them.
12Who is Mental Freedom® for?+
Mental Freedom® is for people who want practical tools to build emotional resilience, clarity, and self-leadership—without blame, shame, or pressure to be perfect.
